What is marketplace payout reconciliation?

What should you compare?

Start with the order and its status, then compare the expected settlement after commissions, service fees, shipping adjustments and refunds with the payout recorded by the marketplace. Check the release date as well: a completed order is not necessarily due for payment on the same day.

How PlatformRecon checks Shopee and TikTok Shop payouts

1. Connect your Malaysian seller account through the marketplace's authorization flow.
2. PlatformRecon imports the available orders, payout records and fee details. Connecting and importing do not use credits.
3. A reconciliation cycle compares each order with its payout and classifies the result. You can review the flagged orders and export evidence for seller support.

What do the results mean?

Matched

The expected and recorded payout agree.

Short-paid

The recorded payout is lower than the expected amount; inspect the fee and adjustment details.

Missed payout

No matching payout was found after the expected settlement window. Check later releases before raising a claim.

Refunded or adjusted

A return, refund or adjustment changes what the seller should receive. These should not be counted as missing money without review.

What to do with a difference

Open the order, confirm its settlement date and fee breakdown, then compare it with the marketplace statement. If the difference remains, export the flagged order and contact the marketplace's seller support. A flagged result is evidence to review, not a guarantee of recovery; marketplace rules and later adjustments can change the final amount.
